Ads + calls, honestly

Call Tracking Metrics and Google Ads

Stated plainly: we do not claim a native Google Ads integration. What we offer works alongside Ads cleanly — a tracking number per campaign, with call volumes you read against your Ads reporting.

Google Ads call tracking questions

Do you integrate with Google Ads?

We do not claim a native integration. The per-number model works alongside Ads: give each campaign its own tracking number, and read the call volumes in our reports against the click and cost data in your Ads account.

How do I attribute calls to specific Ads campaigns?

Allocate a tracking number per campaign or ad group, use each number only on that campaign's ads or landing pages, and compare the call counts per number with the campaign's Ads performance.

Does Google Ads track calls by itself?

Google Ads offers call reporting features of its own — check the current capabilities inside your Ads account, as Google controls and changes that product. Our platform measures calls on your tracking numbers regardless of what Ads reports.

Can I get keyword-level call attribution?

Not on our per-number platform — that requires dynamic number insertion, which we do not sell. Per-campaign attribution answers the budget question for most advertisers.

"Call tracking with a Google Ads integration" is a common requirement, so this page states our position in the first sentence rather than the last: we do not claim a native Google Ads integration. What we offer is the approach that needs no integration and works with any ad platform — one tracking number per campaign, and call volumes you read directly against your Ads reporting.

The no-integration approach, step by step

  1. Allocate a tracking number to each Ads campaign — or each ad group if you want finer resolution. Numbers are available from more than 40 regions, so campaign numbers can match your market.
  2. Use each number only in that campaign — in the ad copy and on that campaign's landing pages. Attribution cleanliness is placement discipline.
  3. Let a comparison period run, then read the call volumes per number from our reports beside the clicks, costs and conversions in your Ads account.
  4. Decide on the pair: cost per click from Ads, calls per number from tracking — the two together tell you which campaigns earn phone enquiries and at what cost.

Because each number is fixed to a campaign, the attribution is transparent: no scripts on your site, no visitor-level session matching, and nothing to break when a landing page changes. When Ads and calls disagree, you can explain both.

What Google Ads does natively — check, don't assume

Google Ads has offered call-related reporting features of its own inside the Ads platform; exactly what is available and how it counts calls is Google's product decision, and it changes. Check what your Ads account currently provides and treat it as a complementary view — our tracking measures the calls that actually reach your tracking numbers, whatever the ad platform reports about them.

Where the honest boundary sits

  • Per-campaign attribution: yes. Calls counted against the number — and therefore the campaign — that displayed them.
  • Keyword-level attribution: no. That requires dynamic number insertion, which we do not sell; the comparison is in call tracking DNI.
  • Automated conversion push to Ads: no. We do not claim to write call conversions back into your Ads account.

If the per-number model fits, pick tracking numbers from the available numbers pool — plans from $5 a month per number, tiers on the pricing page, workflow on the call tracking pillar, and the metrics model in call tracking metrics.
